Patient relations program
ACP is establishing a Patient Relations Program to support patients who come forward with complaints of sexual abuse or sexual misconduct.
If you submit a complaint with ACP alleging a pharmacist or pharmacy technician has sexually abused you, or committed sexual misconduct toward you, while you were a patient, you may be eligible to receive counselling services. This service is offered by a third party and is of no cost to the patient (conditions apply).
The Patient Relations Program also ensures that pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and ACP staff receive training to prevent and address sexual abuse and sexual misconduct.
