As the leader in the pharmacy, the licensee personally manages and supervises the operation of the pharmacy and the practice of the pharmacy team. Fulfilling this leadership role and ensuring quality pharmacy care requires licensees to be informed, engaged, and proactive.
Licensees ensure quality pharmacy practice through the leadership, supervision, and mentoring of pharmacy staff. Licensees must ensure all members of their team understand and practise in accordance with the pharmacy practice framework.1 Licensees must stay up to date on changes or updates in legislation as well as new guidelines, policies, or advice pertaining to the profession and support their team to understand and comply with these changes.

- myACP: renewing and managing the pharmacy’s licence all takes place in myACP. Licensees are responsible to ensure the pharmacy’s information is up to date within myACP, including (but not limited to) hours of operation, staffing, and contact information.
