Help ACP better understand safety culture in pharmacy

This year, ACP launched CQI+, a continuous quality improvement program for community pharmacy teams that aims to support a strong, positive safety culture – one that focuses on learning and sharing instead of blaming and shaming – in pharmacies across Alberta. While the program officially comes into effect on February 1, 2026, ACP wants to understand the current state of safety culture. We also hope to identify areas of opportunity in which pharmacy team members may require additional support or resources. In partnership with the Institute for Safe Medication Practices Canada (ISMP Canada), ACP invites community pharmacy team members—including regulated members and unregulated employees— to participate in this anonymous, voluntary survey.

Neither ACP nor ISMP Canada will be informed of who participated in the survey, and a summary of the findings of the survey will be shared with all regulated members.

The deadline for responding to this survey is January 15, 2026.
