ACP is conducting research to understand the relationship between the professional practice expectations of community pharmacists and employers/mangers of community pharmacists.
The research will consist of one-on-one telephone interviews (approx. 45 minutes) with community pharmacists. Questions will focus on the themes of professionalism and the role of the pharmacist.

Information will be recorded by an audio recorder and, where appropriate, summarized, in anonymized format, for a final report. At no time will any specific comments be attributed to any participant. All documentation will be kept strictly confidential.
You do not have to participate in this research project. If you choose to participate, you are free to withdraw at any time.
This research is being conducted by pharmacist Jeff Whissell as part of the requirement for a Master’s Degree in Business at Royal Roads University. His credentials with Royal Roads University can be established by telephoning Mr. Don Caplan, MBA Major Projects Manager, 250-391-2600 x. 4367.
An electronic copy of the final report, with no public access, will be held for one year at Royal Roads University. In certain circumstances, the report may be reviewed by future MBA learners, provided permission has been obtained from the report writer.
In addition to submitting the final report to Royal Roads University in partial fulfillment for a Master of Business Administration degree, the research findings will also be shared with the sponsor, the Alberta College of Pharmacists, and potentially developed into a journal article for submission to a scholarly publication.
