The Calgary Exam Centre is now accepting applications to participate as an assessor for the November 8, 2025, administration of the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) Qualifying Examination – Part II (OSCE).
The required time commitment is as follows:
- one orientation session for new assessors and returning assessors who have not participated in an exam in the past year to be held in person at the exam site before exam day;
- one training session for all assessors to be held online before exam day;
- online training consisting of an independent review of information and completion of scoring practice exercises; and
- exam day participation on November 8, 2025, approximately 11 hours.
Note: mandatory masking is required for this exam session.
All PEBC assessors will be compensated at a flat service fee of $495 per exam session. Assessors will be reimbursed for eligible exam day travel expenses including out-of-town assessors’ mileage up to maximum of $40.00 and parking. PEBC does not provide travel expense reimbursement for pre-exam day training sessions.
Given the high stakes for candidates taking the examinations, PEBC relies on the full commitment of assessors. Assessors should carefully evaluate their ability to complete all required activities, including those on exam day, before agreeing to participate in the exam session.
