Pharmacists are encouraged to participate in Statistics Canada’s survey.

Statistics Canada is currently conducting the Survey on the Use of Digital Technologies by Health Care Providers (SUDTHCP). These data are being collected as part of the Shared Health Priorities Initiative. The survey results will be used to identify gaps and barriers in the use of digital health systems by pharmacists, doctors, and nurses working in Canada. It may also help to better understand and improve the flow of data across multiple healthcare systems, which can help increase the coordination of care and collaboration among health care providers. Pharmacists who have received a letter or email from Statistics Canada with an invitation to participate in the survey are encouraged to take part.

Statistics Canada takes the privacy of Canadians very seriously. This survey is conducted under the authority of the Statistics Act, which ensures that the information provided will be kept confidential. Statistics Canada does not release any information that could identify individuals, households, or businesses.
