The Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) is recruiting pharmacist assessors for the Calgary site for the upcoming Qualifying Examination – Part II (OSCE) on Sunday, May 28, 2023.
Prior to the exam, assessors will be responsible for attending an online orientation and visiting the assessor website. The examination day is approximately 11 hours long. On the examination day, some roles have changed, which means there will be additional assessor responsibilities, such as station sanitization. In addition, PEBC requires anyone in attendance at the exam centre to use a PEBC-provided mask for the duration of the exam day.
Qualifications
The most important qualification is current practice experience in a patient care environment performing or directly supervising patient care activities such as dispensing, compounding, clinical, and drug information services.
Reimbursement
A service fee of $495 will be offered for participating in a full day examination. For those residing outside of the Calgary city limits, eligible travel expenses will be reimbursed (at the most economical travel rates) with receipts and/or documented mileage, up to a maximum of $40.
How to apply
PEBC Calgary encourages interested candidates to submit an assessor application as soon as possible.
