The Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) is a program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) that provides limited, temporary, taxpayer-funded coverage of health care benefits to people, including protected persons, refugee claimants, rejected refugee claimants and other specified groups.
