ACP’s evolved Continuing Competence Program (CCP) was designed to be more user friendly, further empowering pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to maintain and improve competence. If you haven’t yet seen how the requirements have changed, check out this article and explainer video for a complete breakdown.
Whenever something is new, it can take some time to get used to it. Knowing that, ACP has you covered no matter what type of learner you are! The college has developed many resources to help pharmacy professionals navigate the new online learning system, Academy, and complete their CCP requirements.
In Academy, you can access the CCP help section from the purple menu bar near the top of your screen.

Once there, you can review
- a detailed help guide to navigating CCP inside Academy;
- short tutorial videos explaining key CCP processes like completing prescribed learning activities, choosing and working on tenets of professionalism, and submitting continuing education units (CEUs); and
- answers to frequently asked questions.
With pharmacist practice permits coming up for renewal, we are offering the opportunity to ask some questions about the evolved program. Pharmacists can join us for our second CCP online session livestream with competence director, Pamela Timanson, on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. MT. An email invitation was sent out to pharmacists on March 9, 2026.
