ACP will be holding council elections in District 1 (Northern Alberta), District 3 (Edmonton), District 5 (Calgary) and an inaugural position for one Pharmacy Technician.

Completed nomination papers must be received by the Registrar by 4:30 p.m., February 29.
NOTE: Only pharmacists may nominate pharmacists and only pharmacy technicians may nominate pharmacy technicians.
2012 council elections – send us your nominations!
ACP promotes and protects the health and well being of Albertans by governing the profession of pharmacy. ACP’s vision is the achievement of healthy Albertans through excellence in pharmacy practice. We are seeking pharmacist and pharmacy technician leaders who are committed to ensuring the fulfilment of ACP’s mandate and priorities.
Pharmacists: Clinical pharmacists in good standing who are resident in a district at the time of nomination are eligible to nominate, be nominated, and to vote for the clinical pharmacist member of council for that district.
Pharmacy technicians: All individuals registered as a pharmacy technician under s(3.1) of the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians Profession Regulation are eligible to nominate, be nominated, and to vote for the pharmacy technician position on council for the first three-year term. The successful candidate will represent all pharmacy technicians in the province. Upon installment, one of the existing pharmacy technician “observer” positions on council will be rescinded.
Please review the list of registrants and collaborate with other pharmacists or pharmacy technicians to nominate visionary leaders interested in advancing the mandate of ACP. Note that candidates must reside in the district they represent.
