In its written decision on April 6, 2020, the committee designated by Council under section 65 of the Health Professions Act suspends pharmacist Ankit Parikh’s practice permit (#6688) effective immediately.
During this suspension, Mr. Parikh cannot
- hold himself out as a pharmacist,
- engage in the practice of pharmacy,
- perform any restricted activities (such as dispensing, prescribing, or administering medication by injection), or
- be the licensee of a pharmacy and must not participate in the management or direction of pharmacy practice at a pharmacy.
This suspension remains in effect until the completion of the proceedings concerning a complaint being investigated under Part 4 of the Health Professions Act.
