ACP Ethics and Jurisprudence Exam bookings available July 15, 2020

July 8, 2020
Exams will take place online with a virtual proctor.

Bookings for the ACP Ethics & Jurisprudence Exam will begin on July 15, 2020.

ACP is offering the Ethics and Jurisprudence Exam online, using a virtual proctor (someone who monitors the exam process), until further notice.

Starting on July 15, 2020, candidates will be able to book exam dates and times via the ACP website. Please refer to the website for instructions on how to book your exam date and time. Exam bookings will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Once candidates have a time booked, they will be given instructions about technical requirements needed to take the exam online (e.g., computer with a webcam, appropriate web browser, etc.) Before taking the exam, candidates will be expected to test their system to ensure they have the proper technical requirements.

At the time of the exam, candidates will login and go through a series of checks with their proctor, including a review of the candidate’s picture identification and a room scan. Once those are completed, the online exam will begin. Keep in mind that your exam location should be quiet and, if applicable, restrict internet use by others around you during the exam. This will minimize bandwidth demand and ensure your exam isn’t disrupted by other devices using your network.

Remember, provisional pharmacists must successfully complete the Ethics & Jurisprudence Exam before being permitted to begin level two of the Structured Practical Training (SPT) Program. Provisional pharmacy technicians must successfully complete the Ethics & Jurisprudence Exam to be eligible to work under indirect supervision in levels two and three of the SPT program or to apply for the pharmacy technician register.
