Amendments proposed to prohibit inducements

The 60-day review period for the proposed amendments to ACP’s Standards and Code of Ethics is now open. View the proposed amendments.

ACP is proposing amendments to our Standards and Code of Ethics to prohibit pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy proprietors from providing an inducement on the condition that an individual receives a drug or a professional service from a pharmacist or pharmacy technician.

The proposed amendments have been circulated to ACP registrants and pharmacy stakeholders for review and comment. To submit your comments, please use the ACP registrant comment form.
