Information you need to participate in the 2019-20 Alberta Influenza Immunization Program is now available.
Influenza season is quickly approaching and once again community pharmacists will play a key role in immunizing Albertans.
The 2019-20 Alberta Influenza Immunization Program will begin the week of October 21, 2019. Information you need to participate in the publicly funded program is now available on our updated seasonal influenza information page on the ACP website.
The webpage includes the following resources:
- the Government of Alberta’s Influenza Immunization Policy for 2019-20,
- an updated vaccine chart,
- cold chain management,
- reporting requirements,
- what to do in case of an adverse event, and
- other resources.
