Bugs & Drugs recommendations have changed. Have you?

February 5, 2013

Many physicians are changing their prescribing habits according to Bugs & Drugs 2012 recommendations (for example, new dosing for amoxicillin in treating acute otitis media and sinusitis). However, pharmacists not up to speed with the new recommendations have been questioning the prescriptions. Save time for yourself and prescribers by making sure you are familiar with the current recommendations.

The 2012 paperback edition of the Bugs & Drugs Reference Book is now available at amazon.ca. For details about bulk or AHS orders or the iPhone app, see www.bugsanddrugs.ca.

Direct all ordering and distribution inquiries to bugsanddrugs@albertahealthservices.ca.
