In its written decision on April 18, 2019, the committee designated by Council under section 65 of the Health Professions Act suspends Dr. Rizk’s practice permit effective immediately.
During this suspension, Dr. Pierre Rizk cannot
- hold himself out as a pharmacist,
- engage in the practice of pharmacy,
- perform any restricted activities (such as dispensing, prescribing, or administering medication by injection), or
- be the licensee of a pharmacy and must not participate in the management or direction of pharmacy practice at a pharmacy.
This suspension remains in effect until the completion of the proceedings concerning a complaint referred to hearing under Part 4 of the Health Professions Act.
