Registration now open for ADAPT
June 28, 2011
ADAPT, a comprehensive learning experience that supports pharmacists in putting their knowledge and skills into practice, is launching Canada-wide. This 19-week CE course is designed specifically for practising pharmacists, and uses interactive online learning, supportive moderators, and plenty of peer interaction to enhance pharmacists’ skills.
The ADAPT course has 7 online modules, each lasting 2–4 weeks. Modules will typically open on a Wednesday and close on a Tuesday. The entire course will take 19–20 weeks (including a 1–2 week break, depending on time of year). Students can expect to spend 4–5 hours on ADAPT each week.
ADAPT course materials were collaboratively developed by the Canadian Pharmacists Association, the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists, and the CPhA-CSHP Primary Care Pharmacy Specialty Network.
Registration is now open for the inaugural session, running August 3 – December 13, 2011. Positions are limited. Special pricing is available for different audiences.
