As indicated in ACP’s newly-approved Standards of Practice – Sexual abuse and sexual misconduct, communication is needed before engaging in physical contact with a patient.
This week, ACP deputy registrar Kaye Moran has advice to ensure patients and pharmacy professionals are on the same page before clinically necessary physical contact takes place.
