ACP has updated our Seasonal influenza information webpage, which provides pharmacy teams with links and tools they need to navigate through the 2020-21 influenza immunization season.
Included on the webpage is a link to the Alberta Immunization Policy (AIP), which includes a new version of the Fluzone® high-dose influenza vaccine: information for health professionals document, which was updated to include the addition of Fluzone® HD vaccine for individuals 65 years of age or older who reside in provincially funded long-term care beds. The AIP Immunization Goals and Objectives were also updated to reflect the influenza immunization targets for this season.
