People from across Canada will gather in Edmonton October 3-5, 2018, for the National Harm Reduction/Drug Policy Conference. The conference title is: Stimulus 2018 – Drugs, Policy and Practice in Canada.
The event is being hosted by an alliance of national and provincial partners. Attendees will be challenged to address our current state of drugs and drug policy.
Topics for the conference may include the following:
- cannabis legislation,
- culture,
- drug checking,
- engaging people with lived experience,
- harm reduction for stimulant users,
- human rights,
- innovative programs and practices,
- law and policy,
- overdose prevention, and
- peer support and services.
The conference will also feature a film festival, displays, posters, satellite sessions, and more.
