Attention, aspiring pharmacy leaders!
If you are a pharmacy technician or pharmacist who has been practising in Alberta for up to five years, you are now eligible for ACP’s Leadership Development Award. The award provides the recipient an excellent opportunity to develop their leadership skills through participation in a professional conference or educational program.
Eligible regulated members who demonstrate exemplary professionalism, leadership, and citizenship are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will receive up to $5,000 from ACP to advance the recipient’s leadership skills through attendance at a single prominent leadership conference, or leadership development opportunity delivered through a university or college program. The award can be used to cover program registration fees, travel expenses to attend the program, and accommodation and meal expenses while attending the program.
The award will be presented in June at the Alberta College of Pharmacy’s “Celebration of Leadership.” For more information about the award and how to apply, please refer to the award’s terms of reference on the ACP website.
