Licensees, it’s time to submit your application for your pharmacy licence. This year, there are a few requirements to prepare for before you are eligible to renew.
Make sure your pharmacy’s information is up to date and accurate
Before you apply to renew your pharmacy’s licence, you will need to check your pharmacy profile in myACP and ensure the information, including hours of operation and list of staff members, is complete and accurate.
Make sure you also review the proprietor information in the pharmacy’s myACP profile and ensure the pharmacy’s listed owner and shareholders are accurate. This step replaces the previous requirement to submit corporate documents.
Complete Licensee and Proprietor Education Program requirements
Both licensees and proprietor’s representatives are required to complete the new Licensee and Proprietor Education Programs (LPEP) before applying to renew your pharmacy’s licence.
Licensees are required to submit evidence of completion of
- Licensee Development, or
- Licensee Fundamentals.
Proprietor’s representatives are required to submit evidence of completion of
- the Proprietor Education Program (PEP), or
- Licensee Fundamentals.
Licensees who are also proprietor’s representatives must submit evidence of completion of
- Licensee Fundamentals, or
- both Licensee Development and the PEP.
To learn more about which program you need to complete, refer to The Link.
Evidence of completion of relevant programs is required as part of your submission to apply to renew your pharmacy licence. If this requirement is not met, you will not be able to renew your pharmacy’s licence.
NOTE: Submitting evidence of completing the former Licensee Education Program Part A, B, or Proprietor Self-assessment will not be accepted.
