COVID-19 has touched everyone in Alberta. The Health Quality Council of Alberta (HQCA) wants to know how you’ve been affected.
You’re invited to take the HQCA’s new public survey on COVID-19. You’re also encouraged to make your patients aware of the survey and invite them to participate. The survey asks Albertans for their perceptions on health system access, public health measures, mental health supports, whether people feel protected from COVID-19 infection, and much more.
“COVID-19 has led to many changes over the past couple of months,” says Andrew Neuner, CEO of the HQCA. “It’s important for an independent body to check in with Albertans to see what’s being done well, and where there are opportunities to improve. This will be invaluable information for the health system.”
The HQCA will share survey results with Alberta Health and other organizations involved in healthcare research, planning and delivery for the purposes of improvement.
The survey is available on HQCA’s website. It will take about 15 minutes to complete. It’s open to any Albertan, 16 years of age and older. All responses are completely confidential.
The Health Quality Council of Alberta is a provincial agency with a mandate to survey Albertans on their experiences and satisfaction with patient safety and health service quality.
