Clarification provided on ventilation.
ACP has updated the non-sterile compounding FAQs to provide clarity about the requirements for ventilation of the hood (C-PEC) and room (SEC). All pharmacies must be in compliance with the Standards for pharmacy compounding of non-sterile preparations. New pharmacies, relocations, and renovations must meet the standards immediately, while existing pharmacies must meet the final priority by July 1, 2021.
