Podiatrist prescribing changes July 2

Effective July 2, all Alberta podiatrists will be granted the authority to prescribe all Schedule 1 drugs. Podiatrists are not yet authorized to prescribe narcotics or controlled substances, although that is expected to change soon. You can find a listing of podiatrists on the ACP website under Prescriber Lists.
