ACP offers clarification for pharmacy teams.

ACP has received numerous questions from regulated members regarding the scheduling of pneumococcal 20-valent conjugate vaccines (Prevnar 20TM or Pneu-C20) and tetanus/diphtheria/acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccines. The questions result from changes in provincial drug programs including these vaccines.
This is a reminder that in Alberta, pneumococcal 20-valent conjugate vaccines are Schedule 2 drugs and Tdap vaccines are Schedule 1 drugs.
