The program has a new name and website!
TPP Alberta has a new name to better align with the program’s core function: monitoring the use of prescription drugs prone to misuse in the province. The Tracked Prescription Program (TPP) Alberta has been in operation since 1986 and uses prescribing data and evidence-based resources to optimize safe patient care.
Along with a new name, TPP Alberta also has a new website to support program users access information such as
- FAQs for prescribers, dispensers, and the public;
- the TPP guide;
- monitored medication lists;
- TPP publications including the TPP Atlas reports, and
- prescription pad safety information.
