Public register disclaimer

Disclaimer: The purpose of this public register is to help the public identify persons authorized to provide pharmacy care in Alberta, and determine the practice status of registered members of the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).  

All information provided is compliant with the Personal Information Protection Act, 2003, and is not designed nor intended to be used for any other purpose, including marketing or research. This register also contains information about all licensed pharmacies in the province. 

ACP is the regulatory body that governs the practice of pharmacy in Alberta. Together, the Health Professions Act, 2000, the Pharmacy and Drug Act, 2000, the regulations passed under those Acts and college bylaws require ACP to maintain registers containing information required under the Acts and the College bylaws. This information includes the name, registration number, place of employment, and registration type for all registrants. 

ACP promptly updates its official registers. The information extracted to this public register is updated nightly. 

Information pertaining to upcoming discipline hearings and discipline history is available here. Information pertaining to registrants who are suspended or cancelled based, in whole or in part, on sexual abuse of a patient or sexual misconduct toward a patient as defined by ACP’s standards is available here.
