Requirements and process will remain the same.
In late 2022, ACP announced a temporary pause in the acceptance of all applications for additional prescribing authorization (APA), beginning February 28, 2023. This was necessary for the college to transition the application process to a new internal system.
It is now confirmed that the pause will end and applications will once again be accepted as of March 30, 2023. The requirements for application and the process for applicants will remain the same.
Due to the high volume of applications already being received before the pause, processing time may be longer than usual.
