ACP’s 2022-23 Annual Report is now available online.
The report highlights important initiatives from the past year, including the
- development of new Standards of Practice for Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians (SPPPT),
- launch of the Standards of Practice for Virtual Care and Standards of Practice for Continuing Competence, and
- changes required by amendments to the Health Professions Act (HPA) and Pharmacy and Drug Act (PDA).
ACP also made progress toward goals in the 2021-25 strategic plan, including
- beginning the redesign of the Structured Practical Training (SPT) programs,
- developing the Licensee Competencies Framework,
- continuing to work toward launching the new myACP information management system, and
- conducting the initial environmental scan for a medication incident reporting (MIR) system.
