When myACP launches on September 11, 2023, regulated members will use this new platform for various activities such as renewing annual practice permits and pharmacy licences, applying for authorizations (e.g., additional prescribing authorization, authorization to inject), applying for additions to a pharmacy licence, and applying for pharmacy changes such as relocations, renovations, or changes in licensee or ownership (among others).
To help you successfully submit applications or requests, myACP will include a Knowledge base, consisting of Knowledge articles that explain the requirements and processes to complete each activity. The Knowledge articles also include supporting documents or application forms you may need to refer to or complete.
Information about initial registration requirements for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, pharmacy licensure for new pharmacies, and an overview of the Continuing Competence Program (CCP) will continue to be available at abpharmacy.ca. Comprehensive information about registration, licensure, and CCP requirements will only be available for regulated members in the myACP Knowledge base. In other words, Knowledge will become regulated members’ go-to information source for all things registration, pharmacy licensure, and CCP.
