Highlights from the April 23, 2026, Council meeting.

The following are highlights from the Council deliberations from April 23, 2026:

Financial statements and annual report

Council approved the college’s financial statements from the 2025 fiscal year along with the annual report for 2025-26. Both the financial statements and the annual report will be posted on the ACP website in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more details in a future issue of The Link.

President Patrick Zachar to continue in ex-officio role

Council president Patrick Zachar will continue to serve as a non-voting, ex-officio member of Council for the 2026-27 Council year. Patrick’s second three-year term on Council officially concludes on June 30, 2026, but he has agreed to remain on Council in the role of past-president to support Council’s deliberations for an additional year, starting July 1, 2026. Council and ACP administration extend our thanks to Patrick for his continued dedication and service to his profession.

Report from the Nominating Committee

The current election for the Pharmacist Councillor 2 and Pharmacy Technician Councillor 7 positions closes May 7, 2026. Eligible regulated members are encouraged to vote before the election closes.

Additionally, a special election for two vacant Council positions will take place from July 23, 2026, to August 20, 2026. You can find more information about the processes for nomination applications and voting for the special election in this Link article.
