It’s getting down to crunch time for pharmacists who have still yet to renew their annual practice permit with ACP. The deadline to complete applications for renewal is 11:59 p.m. MT on Sunday, May 31.
As the Continuing Competence Program (CCP) has evolved, we encourage you to renew your practice permit soon since completing the requirements is a different experience than before. There is a new platform, Academy, and the way to document your learning activities is also different. A question we are receiving from pharmacists during this renewal season is: how will I know I have completed all the CCP requirements?
Completing the CCP requirements in Academy is exactly like completing an online module or course. You can track your progress within a course using the Course index found on the right-hand side of the screen in Academy. As well, each time you complete a course, a green “Completed” banner will appear at the top of the course page and on the course icon in the Course overview. This will help you confirm that the required courses are complete.
In the Navigation menu on the left-hand side of Academy, you can click on “Reports” which will allow you to access the Compliance overview. This shows all courses needed to complete the CCP requirements and their status. If you see a green checkmark beside the course, you have completed this requirement.
You can also confirm the continuing education units (CEUs) you have completed by accessing the Learning history report.
