We’ve heard feedback from pharmacy professionals across Alberta that critical information that was distributed in Link articles in the past can sometimes be hard to find when you need it, or outdated when you find it. To address this, and to make results from our Google-powered website search even more accurate, ACP has introduced Need to Know.
This new section of the website consolidates essential practice information and keeps it up to date. As part of this shift, older Link articles have been reviewed, integrated into this new resource, and removed.
Need to Know is broken down into categories to help you find what you need faster. Looking for assistance in navigating a drug shortage? Need to Know has you covered. Not sure if you are compounding or manufacturing? Need to Know has an answer for that. What about health products that have no DIN? Need to Know.
It will take a few weeks for our website search to completely adjust to the new resources and categories, but after that we welcome your feedback on the new system and how it could be improved in the future.
