Council has considered feedback received from regulated members through its 60-day consultation and has approved amendments to its bylaws.
Last year, Council established a governance committee, mandating it to complete a comprehensive review of the bylaws. This had not been undertaken since 2011 when pharmacy technicians first became regulated. Significant amendments address the addition of publishing requirements for the ACP website to improve transparency and establishing policies for the discipline and publication of Hearing Tribunal decisions involving sexual abuse and sexual misconduct, as required by Bill 21.
