A special election is required to fill the following Council positions:
In May, ACP held an election for the Pharmacist Councillor 2 and Pharmacy Technician Councillor 7 positions where the successful candidates were Deepak Narang and Nina Dueck. Candidates not elected for these Council positions were offered the opportunity to let their names stand again for this special election.
Council has approved the following slate of candidates for the 2026 special election:
Pharmacist Councillor 5
Pharmacy Technician Councillor 6
All eligible regulated members will vote for one pharmacist and one pharmacy technician. Voters will use their ACP registration number and password to log in to myACP and vote online. The myACP home page will provide a link that will take voters directly to the voting process.
Key dates
Sections 18-26 of the ACP Bylaws outline the election process including responsibilities and eligibility criteria. To support the election process, watch your inbox for the two emails that ACP will send with messages from the candidates to all voters. A biographical sketch and photo of each candidate will also be posted.
