Pharmacists and pharmacy teams are at the forefront of helping Albertans through the COVID-19 pandemic. Many are creating innovative solutions to provide and maintain quality health care while ensuring the safety of the public and their colleagues.
It’s time to start thinking about who deserves some recognition for their work, because nominations for the 2021 APEX Awards will open on Monday, January 4, 2021.
Have you have noticed a pharmacist or pharmacy team going above and beyond for their patients? Do you know someone who has made a significant contribution to pharmacy practice in Alberta? Help recognize your peers for the outstanding work they do by nominating them for a 2021 APEX Award.
Once you have someone in mind, check the award categories to see if your nominee matches the criteria. Next, find someone who shares your enthusiasm for the nominee to second the nomination. Finally, write a compelling nomination letter to submit online.
All APEX Award recipients and their nominators will be invited to an online celebration on Thursday, March 25, 2021.

About the APEX Awards
The Alberta Pharmacy Excellence (APEX) Awards recognize excellence in pharmacy practice in Alberta. Initiated in 2007, the awards are jointly funded, promoted, and presented by the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) and the Alberta Pharmacists’ Association (RxA).
