Elections are being held for three positions on ACP Council: a pharmacist in District 1 (northern Alberta), a pharmacist in District 2 (southern Alberta), and a pharmacy technician in District A (northern Alberta). Voting opens at 8:00 a.m. MT on Monday, May 27, 2024, and closes at 4:30 p.m. MT on Thursday, June 27, 2024.
To vote online this year, eligible voters will use their standard login information to access myACP. The myACP home page will then provide a link that will take voters directly to the voting process, as seen in the screenshot below.
The pharmacist candidates seeking election to Council in District 1 (northern Alberta) for a three-year term are
- Asad Gavahi Kashani, and
- Kory Sloan.
The pharmacist candidates seeking election to Council in District 2 (southern Alberta) for a three-year term are
- Scott McLeod, and
- Patrick Zachar (incumbent).
The pharmacy technician candidates seeking election to Council in District B (northern Alberta) for a three-year term are
- Laura Miskimins (incumbent), and
- Kirsten Shead.
To support the election process, ACP will send two emails on candidates’ behalf to voters in each district. Watch your inbox for these messages. A biographical sketch and photo of each candidate will also be posted on the election site, so voters can learn about each candidate to make an informed decision when casting their ballot.
