It’s coming up on one of the busiest times of the year for pharmacy teams in Alberta.
The provincially funded Fall 2025-26 Immunization Program begins on October 20, 2025, and there are some significant changes for this season. ACP’s Seasonal immunization information webpage has been updated with information about the following:
- Primary and Preventative Health Services’ (formerly Alberta Health) Alberta Immunization Policy;
- Primary Care Alberta’s (formerly Alberta Health Services) Influenza Immunization Information for Health Professionals;
- important updates from Alberta Blue Cross Benefacts including
- information about the provincially funded Fall 2025-26 Immunization Program and vaccine allocation,
- details about the Alberta Immunization Outreach Program for COVID-19 and influenza, and
- information about pre-ordering vaccines from the Alberta Vaccine Ordering System; and
- questions and answers about influenza and COVID-19 immunizations.
ACP will continue to update the seasonal immunization information webpage as more information becomes available, so keep an eye on this page for updates.
