Pharmacist practice permit renewal

Before you can complete your online renewal, you must submit your Continuing Competence Program (CCP) requirements via the CCP portal.

All registrants must pay their personal practice permit renewal online individually via credit card. ACP will no longer accept cheques or credit card payment information provided outside of the online system (e.g., provided manually along with pharmacy licence renewal fees). ACP accepts Visa and MasterCard credit card payments only.

For more information, check out our registration renewal tip sheet.

If you have questions or are experiencing problems with your renewal or reinstatement, contact the ACP Registration Department at

Pharmacy licence renewal

The pharmacy licence renewal process has changed. On April 1, ACP sent emails to all licensees with this year’s application for pharmacy licence renewal. If you did not see the email, please ensure you are checking the same email address that is on your ACP profile. Look for “Pharmacy Renewal” as the sender of the email.

Pharmacy renewal applications must be submitted to ACP by 11:59 p.m. MT on May 31, 2019—the same deadline as the renewal of pharmacists’ practice permits.

Remember, it is the licensee’s responsibility to ensure that the pharmacy licence renewal application form is completed and submitted to ACP. If you are no longer or will no longer be the licensee of the pharmacy or did not receive the email with the application form, please contact ACP immediately at
