Introducing myACP!

July 12, 2023
ACP’s new information management system will change the way regulated members interact with the college.

ACP has been hard at work behind the scenes developing a new information management system that will change the way regulated members interact with the college. Regulated members will soon be empowered more than ever to manage their own profile online.

On Monday, September 11, 2023, we will officially launch myACP.

Pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and licensees will then be able to log in to myACP to renew their practice permits, manage their registrant profiles, and more. Users will also be able to track the progress of their applications.

“On behalf of the entire team at ACP, we are extremely excited to announce that myACP will be ready in just a few months,” said Greg Eberhart, ACP’s Registrar. “This has been a significant effort for ACP to bring our technology up to date and place our team members in a better position to fulfill ACP’s mandate within a modernized health system.”

myACP was developed to replace the college’s existing information management system, which no longer meets the needs of ACP or our regulated members. For ACP team members, myACP will help facilitate day-to-day processes and enhance our ability to govern pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacies in Alberta.

For regulated members, myACP will give pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and licensees more ability to manage their own profiles, registration, pharmacy licences, applications, and renewals—all completely online. No more faxes! Licensees will also be able to access their pharmacy inspection reports through myACP. Additionally, regulated members will access the continuing competence program (CCP) portal via myACP, although the completion of continuing competence activities will continue to be completed in the CCP portal.

“The myACP platform not only allows our college to replace outdated technology, it enables us to continue to evolve and improve the way we support our regulated members to provide safe, effective, and quality pharmacy care for Albertans,” said Greg. “We know this modernized system will serve ACP and our regulated members well for years to come.”
