Helpful hints on where to find registration and pharmacy licence information.

Have you had a chance to check out myACP yet? If not, look for an email sent on Monday, September 11 inviting you to set your password. myACP is the college’s new information management system where you manage and renew your registration, access the Continuing Competence Program (CCP) portal, apply for authorizations (e.g., additional prescribing authorization, authorization to administer drugs by injection), and more. myACP is also where licensees manage and renew pharmacy licences, respond to action reports, and complete pharmacy assessments.

Later this fall, we’ll also be introducing a new public-facing website for ACP (more news on that coming soon!). At that time, you’ll be able to access all the information you need to support your registration, pharmacy licence, and continuing competence on our new website. Until then, that information can be found within the Knowledge section of myACP.

Information now found in Knowledge includes the following:

  • Ethics and Jurisprudence exam,
  • additional prescribing authorization,
  • authorization to administer drugs by injection,
  • Structured Practical Training,
  • supervision,
  • managing your pharmacy licence (including all related application forms),
  • licensee resources,
  • licensee Education Program, and
  • Continuing Competence Program requirements.

Also, all applications are available in myACP including

  • applying to be a clinical pharmacist,
  • applying to be a pharmacy technician,
  • applying for authorization to administer drugs by injection,
  • applying for an extension to your practice permit,
  • moving to an inactive status, and
  • requests for a letter of standing.

A reminder that pharmacy technicians will use myACP to renew their registration this fall.

Pharmacists will use myACP to renew their registration and licensees their pharmacy licence next spring.
