Assessors are needed for the upcoming OSCE on May 26, 2024.

The Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) is recruiting pharmacist assessors for the Edmonton site for the upcoming Qualifying Examination – Part II Objective Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE) on Sunday, May 26, 2024. Prior to the exam, assessors will be responsible for attending an online orientation and reviewing materials on the assessor website. The examination day is approximately 11 hours long.

PEBC has provided the following information about this opportunity.

The most important qualification is current practice experience in a patient care environment performing or directly supervising patient care activities such as dispensing, compounding, clinical, and drug information services.

Those participating in a full day examination will be offered $495. For those residing outside of the Edmonton city limits, eligible travel expenses will be reimbursed (at the most economical travel rates) with receipts and/or documented mileage, up to a maximum of $40.

How to apply

PEBC Edmonton encourages interested candidates to submit an assessor application as soon as possible.

More information about assessor qualifications, eligibility, and selection criteria can be found on the PEBC website. For questions about eligibility, please contact Badia Dennehy, OSCE Chief Administrator, at
