Close calls can help pharmacy teams shed light on vulnerabilities.

ACP’s new continuous quality improvement program, CQI+, places an increased focus on opportunities to be proactive about patient safety in the pharmacy. Close calls – events that could have resulted in unwanted consequences but ultimately did not reach a patient – provide one such opportunity.

In a new video for regulated members, pharmacy practice consultants Jasmine Han and Andrew Fuller explain what a close call is, and why it is so important for pharmacy teams to learn from them.
