Special election to fill two vacancies will begin in July.
Per section 27 of the ACP Bylaws, a special election will be held in July-August 2026 to fill two vacant Council positions:
- Pharmacist Councillor 5 – This position is for a three-year term, effective August 2026-June 2029. The successful candidate will be eligible for election for a second three-year term.
- Pharmacy Technician Councillor 6 – This position is for a 10-month term effective August 2026-June 2027. The successful candidate will be eligible for election for a second three-year term.
The Nominating Committee invites applications from eligible pharmacists and pharmacy technicians across Alberta who are interested in being recommended to Council for nomination.

Application forms must be submitted prior to 4:30 p.m. MT on Wednesday, June 1, 2026.
